An exercise based on the poem by the Sufi mystic Rumi:
“I have lived on the lip
of insanity, wanting to know reasons,
knocking on a door. It opens.
I've been knocking from the inside.”
Spiritual traditions speak of a path which must be traveled to reach a goal, home. But this is a paradox, since there is nothing to aspire to because the notion of separation is illusory. On the one hand, moving home, on the other, being at home, simultaneously, speaks of our human condition.
